Avoid immersing the stone in water as it can absorb moisture, potentially leading to damage during future use. Always ensure the stone is dry before its next use to avoid cracking. Dark spots from burnt-in residue are normal and will not affect the performance of the stone.
- In what appliances can I use the baking stone?
The baking stone is ideal for standard ovens and perfectly matches Rommelsbacher mini ovens, including models BG 1600 PizzAvanti and BG 1650. It’s designed to withstand temperatures up to 300 °C. We do not recommend using the stone on gas grills or for grilling, as its porosity may absorb juices from the food.
